Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2025/26
The Parish Council has to complete this document and have it audited by an Internal Auditor each year following 31st March. I am pleased to say that we have passed our audit. Consequently the document can now be posted on the website. To read more click on the link.

The documents include the Certificate of Exemption, which is sent to the External Auditor. This is the only document that needs to be sent to the external auditor because the Parish Council’s Income and Expenditure is less than £25,000.
All other documents have to be checked by the Internal Auditor. These include the Annual Governance Statement, The Accounting Statements and the Asset Register.
All these documents were approved at the meeting on 7th May 2026.
Finally, the public have a right to examine the books, by prior appointment with the Reponsible Financial Officer during a set time period from 3rd June until 14th July as per the notice attached.
